House of Apprenticies for Thinking Religion

The core matter of the „House of Apprentices for Thinking Religion“ is thinking the oneness of religion along the ways of the difference of cultures. This endeavor would neither like to compare cultures nor to mix them together. Instead, it takes as its aim the contemplation of the One as it reveals itself specifically in each culture without deserving, or being conducive to, comparison. The efforts of this house should therefore not be subsumed under the idea of „comparative studies.“ As a consequence, this „House of Apprentices“ promotes attentive listening and concerned conversation between the cultures and thereby comes close to the main purpose of the EKŌ Centre. Please pose questions regarding the general framework, forthcoming lectures and gatherings to the person in duty: Dr. habil. Hermann–Josef Röllicke, Tel.: 0211–577918–214, E–mail: roellicke@eko–haus.de.
